Need a home for a good dog
On Thursday as I was dashing off to work, a black lab met me at my door. He was in need of a good home. Unfortunately, at the Tanner house, there is no more room in the inn. For now, I took him to the Wichita animal...

Update on Steve & Sandra Parish
Tuesday evening I had a picture phone conversation (via SKYP) with Steve & Sandra.  They have both greatly improved since they took them out of their ICUs and put them in a room together.  Sandra’s breathing sounds much more normal now and her speech was not labored as it was before. A brief message from Beccy: I was so glad to hear from Bob Gleason. He told me he was writing again and wanted to send a sermon he gave on August 1, 2010 to the Radium Blog. So, here it is: By Bob Gleason Deuteronomy 11: 1-21 (“The Message” translation) (Moses instructing and warning the Israelites as they prepare to enter the Promised Land) So love God, your God; guard well His rules and...

NEWS FROM RADIUM SENIOR CENTER
Dixie, I thought maybe those who read the Radium Blog would like to know what’s happening with the Radium Rangers Senior Center.  So the last newsletter sent out to members is below.   To become a member of the group (and yes, all alumni and classmates of Radium School are “eligible” to be members—-meaning, you’re old enough) is very simple.  Just send $5 (or more) to...
